The bottom line
It's all about saying it and saying it right. During my five years at Virksomhedsskolen, I taught every aspect of communication: From the hardcore technical aspects of language (like grammar and punctuation), over notes and minutes and editing, to the general course simply (but aptly) named "Good Communication."
The common denominator for all of my courses was that they were about the bottom line - when it comes to finances as well as to communication. Good communication can save a bad working environment, prevent poor co-operation, and enhance the employees' satisfaction and effectivity.
My students were very different - from grocers and secretaries to middle management and lawyers. They all needed a boost of very specific communication skills, though. Every course was tailor-made to each student or student group, and I often made teaching material specifically designed for each individual student/group.

I also taught composition as a professor at the Faculty of Arts (languages department) at Aarhus University, and I've been a TA at the Department of Aesthetics and Communication at Aarhus Universitet, teaching composition to the students of Comparative Literature as well as Rhetoric. Apart from that, I've worked with special needs students, enabling them to complete their studies despite their difficulties.
Aiming to teach my students the scholarly as well as technical skills necessary to excel in an academic environment, I taught workshops and classes, and gave the students individual feedback. To ensure a consistent composition instruction of high quality, I also made new teaching materials.
